Assistant

Jolene graduated from Porter and Chester Institute in 2017 with her dental assisting degree and immediately began her career working alongside Dr. Fernandez and Dr. Egan. Since joining the team, she has been dedicated to providing high-quality patient care and continues to expand her knowledge to stay current with the latest advancements in density. She particularly enjoys assisting with extractions and implant procedures, where she can help patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their
treatment.

Outside of the office, Jolene enjoys spending quality time with her two children. Their weekends are often spent sleeping in, sipping coffee, traveling to new places, and making the most of every moment together.

Assistant

Jennifer has over 13 years of experience as a dedicated dental assistant. Having worked alongside many different doctors including Pediatrics, Oral Surgery, and Endodontics. She is always eager to learn something new. Jennifer takes pride in being attentive, compassionate, and detail-oriented. She is always striving to make patients feel at ease during every visit. Jen also specializes in the new Whitening service provided in the office and has many years trained with Cerac.

Outside of the office, she is married, and a proud mother of three wonderful children. As well as being Nana to three adorable grandchildren. Her family is her greatest joy, and she cherishes every moment spent with them.

Assistant

Bianca is an experienced dental assistant with over 10 years in the field and a 2016 graduate of Porter and Chester Institute. She is known for her gentle approach, attention to detail, and dedication to making patients feel comfortable and cared for. Outside the office, Bianca is a licensed nail technician who runs her own nail studio on weekends. She enjoys drinking coffee, reading, long walks, and spending time with family and friends.

Dental Hygienist

Marnie is a graduate of The Fones School of Dental Hygiene in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and has practicing for over 30 years. In between her years of clinical hygiene, she taught at Goodwin College and was an independent contractor with Waterpik. She has been a member of the Dental Doctors of Somerset team for over 17 years. Attending continuing education and keeping up with all the newest advances in dentistry is her passion. Delivering personal, quality care in a comfortable environment is her priority as well as establishing lifelong relationships with her patients.

Marnie lives in Manchester, CT with her husband Marc. They have two daughters, Madison and Karah. In her free time, you’ll find her at the gym, decorating her home, trying new recipes or enjoying a Starbucks latte.

Dental Hygienist

Mary Jane Plante graduated with highest distinction from the University of Maine School of Dental Hygiene in 1991, where she was also honored as a presidential pin award recipient. She later earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology. Mary Jane spent ten years working per diem at Dental Doctors of Somerset before joining the practice full-time in 2021, where she now works three days a week. She is deeply committed to providing patient comfort and education, which she considers essential to excellent care. She is highly trained and experienced in the use of Florida Probe, VELscope, iTero, and Invisalign technologies.

Mary Jane resides in Coventry, Connecticut, with her husband Bill, and their two children, James and Maggie. Outside the office, she enjoys swimming, traveling, and spending time with her family, especially at the beach.

Dental Hygienist

Financial Coordinator

Jenn has been in the dental field as a key player for the last 35 plus years. Her primary role is coordinating financial arrangements for patients, insurance processing and billing. She is also a staff supporter. She is the proud mother of a son named Kash, they reside in Willington with their bulldog Ozzy and their cats Huney and Linda. She is a huge sports fanatic; in her free time, you will find her at all of her son’s sporting events. Together they enjoy road trips, music, fishing, basketball and going to the beach as well as spending time with family and friends.

Front Desk/Insurance Coordinator

Julliana has experience with appointment scheduling, insurance verification, treatment planning, patient communication and coordinating with dental providers to help the office run smoothly. She takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service, staying organized and ensuring every patient feels welcomed and comfortable throughout their dental visit.

Outside of work, Julliana enjoys spending quality time with her family, cheering on her boys at their sporting events, cooking, and continuing to grow professionally in the dental field.
